Caption: This is a view of the former CN (GTR) station in downtown Waterloo, looking west. This solid brick structure dates from around 1910 and is still standing; now home to a men's wear store. It is located on Regina St. South, a block east of King St. Enhancing the old building now is a caboose on display on the close side (right) and across the way, now single track, is the Laurel Trail; a popular pathway for those out for a walk in town.

Oh man that’s awesome. Thanks for posting this Arnold. The siding in the foreground and the other industrial spur there were removed when Waterloo built their new city hall and added parking lots during the late 80′s/early 90′s.
