Most of the GEXR roster is out on the line this day; with GEXR 179 and 180 on the Exeter Sub and 177 on the Goderich, as they do some car swapping at Clinton Jct on a nice sunny afternoon. Shooting with Fuji Reala 120 film, it leaves a warm green on the foliage. Unlike any other film I ever used.

  1. This is fantastic! These are the GEXR years I wish I could have seen. Loved those chopped nose Geeps!

  2. If my mission in life was to make Marcus happy, then I have succeeded for a few moments.:o) Glad you like this. I really miss those old warriors too, even though every time I went up there, it was the same old power.

  3. They’re not the most attractive chop-nosed GP9s out there, but now that they’re gone I too wish I had photographed them more!

  4. 1st time i’ve ever seen G&E locomotives photographed all in the same scheme barring G&W. Nice catch Mr Mooney.

  5. Great scene Arnold. That’s neat you can see all the crew members too.

  6. Fuji provia was not much different. I shot a roll or two and had a friend who helped me understand the ins and out of some films.

But alas I said screw it and went digital as soon as I could.
