Caption: Morning in the Leslieville neighbourhood: residents head off to work, some with lunch boxes in hand, as a pair of MU'ed TTC PCC streetcars pause at the light eastbound on Queen at Coxwell. The lead car is TTC 4663 (A11-class, originally built 1946 for Cleveland), with a TTC 4400-series car (A7-class, new to the TTC in 1949) coupled behind. Both classes were equipped with couplers for MU service, originally for the busy Bloor streetcar route, and later migrating to service on Queen. In the distance, another two eastbound PCC cars approach.

Today, most of the low-rise storefront and apartment buildings here still remain, although the customers have changed. Stores visible in 1968 are: Jimmy's Farm (produce), George's Smoke Shop (variety), Pickin' Chicken Restaurant, Canadian Dyers & Cleaners. On the right are signs for Diamond Steak House, and Sue's Dry Goods (clothing).
