Ducking beneath Waterdown Road, VIA 73 heads west behind cab units from both GMD and MLW.  The FP9A 6532, built as CN 6532 in May 1957, would be rebuilt/numbered to FP9Au VIA 6310 in 1984.  This unit was one of the few repainted to the grey and yellow experimental scheme in 1980.  It would be wrecked on April 9, 1993 at Rapide-Blanc, Quebec after hitting a washout.  Trailing unit FPA-4 6782, built for CN in March 1959 and retired from VIA during the late 80s.
