Caption: Back in 1993, my sister had picked me up in Waterloo for an overnight visit to her place in Guelph. Being incredibly new to this hobby at that time, I asked her if we could go by the Guelph train station as it seemed the most logical place to see any trains. As it was a Sunday it was quiet, however I was able to see and photograph my first GO Transit train-set laying over by the station. This train operated from here to Toronto daily during the week and offered the first round of GO Transit service into the Royal City on the CN Guelph Subdivision. Even though ridership had increased, this route was eventually terminated not long after in the mid-90’s.
