Caption: I don't recall the circumstances regarding this image. Appears I must have just caught up to it by luck. After all, this is a ridiculous location to grab a shot of CP rolling up to Clifton Hill. And not easy to access the track level either. You'd think "whisky made me do it".
Anyway, it turned out to be an interesting shot; CP 5731, 5582 has just come over the border from the USA and is bound for Hamilton and onward to Toronto. Parking is usually terrible around Clifton Hill, so I guess I parked and ran where I could. :o) Raining, too!! Incidentally, after all these years, the Marineland advertised on the board is still going strong.

Thats it. Its 1015 PM. late enough for me.
Happy New Year 2022 to all the train junkies and those who have to put up with this hobby.
Happy New Year Mr Mooney. All the best. Wonder what the attendance at Marineland is like these days?
Thanks, Brad.
This morning, Jan. 2nd; heavy caked snow in Grimsby, but only 6 CM or so (couple of inches).
Marineland closes at Thanksgiving, but the maintenance, feeding and music goes on to keep the show animals in tune. Unlike the Toronto Zoo for example, the Marineland is closed all thru the winter. A lot of maintenance costs. Feeding and vets alone would run up a huge bill
@awmooney I’ve yet to suit up and go to the local Walmart and see what’s happening at Lambton. Always action there. But I hear it’s supposed to S**t on us. Stay safe.
Happy New Year Arnold!
Great photo as well.
Thanks Jason, Here’s to 2022 (urrp!!)
