Counting down the hours.

GMTX 333 idles away in Orangeville for the final time on this early cold fall morning. Once the crew is on duty, they will head north to lift the final 4 cars and begin the trek south to Streetsville Junction thus marking the end of 142 years of rail service to Orangeville.

  1. Amazing capture of an all too familiar story repeated across Canada…once the critical revenue is gone these lines are relegated to history

  2. Great shot Mike. Sad to see yet another line disappear into the history books :-(

  3. Welp, it’s over. A classy move by GIO to add the herald to the front. Well done.

  4. Very nice night photo Mike.
