Caption: CP 8-420-10 is seen here on their way out of Vaughan after dropping a hefty cut of stacks. Leading is a venerable GMD SD40-2, commonly seen leading regular trains on the Mactier as recently as 2013, but now an extreme rarity on anything other than a work train. I believe the only reason this particular train had one on point was due to the conductor’s side windshield being cracked on the trailing unit, CP 8759. Additionally, the symbol 8-420 is one I’ve never seen before, nor have I ever seen a 420 with traffic for VIT. All kinds of oddities happening here!
