VIA 83 rounds the bend at the site of the former Sunnyside station with VIA F40PH 6409 and 4 LRC coaches, the last 2 being wrapped. The 1st wrap (3rd coach) still has VIA 40 (The Future is on board) decals while the 2nd wrap (4th coach) proudly displays "l'avenir est á bord" which roughly translates to "the future is on board" but does not have a 40th anniversary decal.

  1. Fantastic light and colour !

  2. Thank you!

  3. Very nice, Isaac.

  4. A very nice picture indeed, Isaac. Not only the “colourful” consist, but you captured 83 in a most scenic setting. This has to be the best manicured railway right-of-way in Toronto ! And a glimpse of the “Edwardian mansion” on the north side of King St adds the final touch. In another. couple of years, with VIA’s new train sets now well under construction, this will be a very historical picture, and how often do you get 3 different paint schemes ? Well done, thank you for the effort and posting, John

  5. Thanks to you both!
