Caption: CPR SW8 6702 (GMD, 1950) with its pair of idler flats, pulls a cut of cars - including an L&N "DIXIE LINES" gondola - off of the Wabash Railroad car float, Windsor, onto Canadian soil. Built in 1930, the Windsor would continue in service under the Norfolk & Western Railroad and Norfolk Southern. It was reportedly scrapped in 2007.
6702 would be retired in 1990 and sold to the D&H (CP-owned) in 1992. Retiring in 1999, it would go to Larry's Truck and Electric 900, and leased to WCI Steel of Warren, Ohio in as their WCIX 831. That plant has since closed (circa 2013) and the unit reportedly returned to Larry's. Further history unknown.
