The CP RCP train slowly creeps by the old McAdam railway station. It's been a long time coming since the last time a CP train of any kind has gone by the former CP station.

  1. Hi Matt, what a beautiful picture beside the classic McAdam station. In May 1958, I stayed for 2 nights at the hotel in this wonderful station. Last time I saw the station was in the summer of 1985 when travelling to and from Moncton on the Montreal- Sherbrooke-Saint John-Moncton-Halifax train. Thank you for posting. Question – did the CP Office train actually make it to Saint John ? I haven’t seen any pictures of it on the NBS or in Saint John. Or did it turn around at McAdam ? Also, did it travel down to Searsport ME ? Many thanks, Happy Thanksgiving, John
