Caption: Here's a throwback to just under 4 years ago when transfer jobs used to be a commodity along the North Toronto Sub. Back in 2017-2018 in my early times using a DSLR, I remember seeing yard transfers between Lambton & Toronto Yard multiple times daily, sometimes even more than road trains. Now in the year 2021 I can only count a handful of times seeing one run, and I'd say it probably only happens once or twice a month at most. Unfortunate but it's the way things go.

Anyways, in this shot we see a beautiful red ex-SOO GP38 leading the way of a westbound transfer through the Bartlett crossing on a chilly December 1, 2017.
