Like the fisherman…probably thinking of landing the ‘big one’…you certainly did with your photo! I still find it neat, and weird…to see these big road engines rolling over the Hagersville Sub., having lived in Caledonia and surrounding area for nearly 30 years. I remember first seeing those venerable F units….unreliable by those engineers who controlled them, but to me were always an attractive site….yup, I just dated myself….
Nice catch, Jazzy lad !!!! Trains and women. Who would have thunk it. )
Iceberg’s dead ahead!
Hey Joseph, the fisherman obviously isn’t a railway enthusiast, not even looking up at this “wonderful catch” – I find the progression to larger and larger motive power over the past 65 years amazing, from CN H Class Ten-Wheelers (when I first visited Caledonia) to Northern 6167, CN F units, and now these large road units – and a 96 car train, Wow ! Thanks for this, well done. John
Those are foam burgs…. literally
Awesome !!
Nicely done, Jow.
I lived in Caledonia 14 yrs and never saw anything but CN!
