Caption: An iconic structure that's been trackside for decades is now gone: what I suspect is a conveyor structure between two Lafarge Cement plants (formerly Canada Cement) has been removed. It was a Great (Jason Noe) Prop (Mooney) over the years. I've been here a few times, shared this a couple years ago. Oh well, too bad, so marches father time. Get your shots!
I chased this T69 once from Puslinch to basically here, and didn't think I'd beat it... they must have stopped in Woodstock, because sometimes this train is a hard one to keep up with!

Great lighting, and leader!
In the shadow of giants….well, those venerable engines once ruled the line at least! Classic ‘modern’ action at Zorra. Great photo!
Its GONE ??? Really ?? Oh crap.
Yes, it was removed thursday. Two very tall cranes from lafarge property, with a gaggle of CPR officials watching from the right of way. As per a picture shared with me.
Very nice photo especially with the actual Zorra cement cars going under it.
Thank you – nice to know! from what I recall after trying to figure out what took them so long, I think what they did was set off the cement cars in Woodstock so they didn’t take them all to the Junction and back – picking then up again on the way west. Not sure why, but it makes sense from a ‘don’t take it if you don’t need it’ point of view.
Frig awf, nice shot Host!
