Some days got so miserable I wondered what the heck I was doing out. After all, the nearest "action" is best around Aldershot, away from my home by about 25 miles. But, it was my day off work.
So this day, not only is it cold and wet, the sleet started. Gawd. Might as well try something different, as the train was moving very slowly and just getting to accelerating for Hamilton as seen from my position on the Lemonville Rd overpass. For you film guys, I set the camera at 60th and f8,(400 ISO medium format) balancing it on the bridge railing.
Streaks of sleet. Not as good as I had hoped, but the fact CP no longer runs over the Oakville plus all this power is now gone from the CP roster at least makes this interesting. Power is CP 8247, 4225 and 4241.

  1. Lotsa mood in this one. Makes me feel cold, even on a hot humid day like today.

  2. (smiles) It was most likely pathetic standing out in the slop, with my car parked down off the bridge and me getting rather soggy waiting for this agonizingly slow train. I’ve forgotten, actually. Just another day. :o )

  3. Both you and the crew are playing the same game. Neither looking forward to going outside and having to do something. Once outside, both can’t wait to get back inside to the warmth of a blowing fan. :-)

  4. This pic should read 1994, not 1984. I have been stuck in the 80s lately for some odd reason. It will be corrected.

  5. Love the mood of this!
