Caption: Another station for the series........this time Tupperville. The Erie & Huron in 1883 constructed a line from Lake Erie (Rond Eau)thru Chatham, Dresden, Wallaceburg and up to Sarnia. The little village of Tupperville is just south of Dresden. I do not know how long ago the station was moved to its' present location on a local farm (family museum) nor when the line was shut down. It had been open for moving grain a few years back. Crossing signals still in place at the village. Have no date on the construction of the station, either, but I do know this was once Pere Marquette track; in 1947 became part of C&O and in 1972 part of Chessie.
Info would be appreciated. Note there are a couple of what looks like "Elmo" dolls in the windows. :o) Tupperville was named after Sir Charles Tupper, in case anyone is curious.

I have to admit I should have scanned RP before putting this photo up. I had forgotten there have been some great action shots of trains thru Tupperville. It sure looks desolate thru there now……..
I very much enjoy this.
Will have to go look at it next time I am there.
Tupperville was one of the premier shots on the csx sarnia sub.
I have one action shot from tupperville I plan to share soon, never seen anyone do the angle. Shot it every time.
