A rather sharp looking CNR U-1-f, 6069, hustles an extra freight westbound along the Brampton Sub about to duck under Jones Baseline on the approach to Guelph. King’s Highway 7 parallels the railway at right. Donning fresh paint, perhaps the loco has recently come out of the Stratford shop having had some work done. Built in 1944, 6069 is now on display at Sarnia.Original Photographer Unknown, Al Chione Duplicate, Jacob Patterson Collection Slide.

  1. All those boxcars!!!! That is history as much as the steamer is.
