Caption: Here's a rather rough old image which I feel might appeal to those who knew and photographed at the Junction area of West Toronto in past years.
The whole of the long-gone old Weston Road bridge can be seen.
No traffic on it as it was closed a couple of years before this image was taken. Demolition was in 1983.
I had just gotten out of the car when a train rolled eastbound so grabbed this shot. Power is CP 5731, 4715, 4725, 5511 and 4709. Best combination I would see this visit, and I almost missed it. Not much of a shot, but it is all now history.
That big grain facility that takes up so much land back there. Is that Campbell's Milling? I understand the structure was razed around 1992. The area has all changed.

I may well be wrong but for some reason Maple Leaf Mills comes to mind as having been in that location.
You are both right! Campbell became MLM. Part of the many industries in the Junction.

Traffic has been a mess since that bridge closed. Should have been rebuilt with modern structure. BIG mistake. Keele & Dundas heart of the Junction is a mess as it is the only way for traffic to travel north/south in the area.
That crane (at left) sat on West Toronto Team and was the only one in Toronto besides Peter Street crane next to King Street Shed.
What’s that structure on the left?
Overhead signal tower, but I don’t know what the box-like structure attached you probably are referring to is.
Thanks, was just referring to the entire thing.
