Caption: Continuing on my theme of GP9's, this is a what's old is new again - CN has come back to the Guelph sub after 20 years but there was quite a bit of change in the area. GO Transit now parks at, surprisingly enough, the Park St. layover (at right) right at the junction of the Huron Park spur and the Guelph sub. I've used this location before for photos before and it's wild to see how much has changed. Metrolinx is quickly fencing everything off around here though.... as alluded to in my prior Stratford picture. Change is happening really fast around here, which means money is being spent. All for good reasons mind you. I was attracted to Guelph sub operations in August as there was a nice pair of 4000 series GP9's bouncing around on L540 - time well spent for this gp9 fan.

I like this. I’ll be out on the Guelph Sub as soon as they replace the current local power with some classic geeps like this But I heard it is getting trickier for shots around the mainline.
Yup….. LOTS of mx and contractors everywhere
