  1. Very nice Michael, a dome observation Park car on the tail end, very nice to see indeed ! Do you know if the Park car was on a charter, special move ? Or was it being deadheaded to Mimico TMC ? Recent VIA news release indicates that when the Ocean does start up, it will apparently be a push-pull operation as a result of there now being no turn around loop available in Halifax. Because the seats in Renaissance coaches can’t be turned around, the train purportedly will be a mixture of Budd built coaches (seats can be turned) and Renaissance sleeping cars, dining car and lounge car – and no dome car. So if this correct, no need to keep Banff Park in Montreal. Have you heard about this ?

  2. I assume it was deadheading but can’t confirm. Yes, I have heard about that.
