After departing Tillsonburg, the second last OSR train on the Cayuga is westbound heading toward Aylmer passing James. S. Howie and Sons farm. It was a real treat that the last two (OSR) trains on the Cayuga were F units, given the Wabash plied this line with F units for 40 years. This railway's future is still uncertain as it has not yet been ripped up by CN. While the weather was gloomy for both last runs with F units, this angle was only possible on a cloudy day.

  1. Those tanks suit the F-units so much better than when pulling auto racks. :-)

  2. Agreed.

  3. I just saw a photo that this past week contractors have started to remove the rails at the very end of the line at Fertilizer Road in Delhi by the FS Partners facility.

  4. Yeah, been going on for a while. The Delhi portion is long abandoned.

Not sure what the plans are for removal of the rest or if they are legally allowed to or not.
