Caption: Prior to taking this picture I only caught #73 sitting outside the Whitehorse engine house. In this picture she was at the head end with two GE units behind her, and she waiting for permission to enter the station platform area. The mixed train consisted of loaded flat cars and passenger cars. Getting back to #73 she was brought back to life in wood frame engine house at Whitehorse. I have a large B&W picture of #73 when she was being tested prior to being put back into service. In that picture you can see an old reel to reel tape recorder sitting on the deck above the pilot wheels.
