Caption: A great location to photograph WP&Y locomotives. Everything was shut down and all was peaceful. The blue painted locomotives & vans were resting in front of the two stall wood frame engine house & some of them were easy to photograph. It was easy to see that the locomotives had led a hard life. One had it's snow plow blade missing, & others had their blades bent due to plowing rocks off the tracks. I guess that I was lucky to be sent there in 1982. Was happy to see the railway operating. At the time I did not realize WP&Y was about to shut down. Lots to see in the Yukon! Beautiful scenery, & lots of nice people. My Latitude/Longitude location may be a little off as all the old landmarks are gone.
