Caption: Riding his 1976 Massey-Ferguson 230, Harvey H. Martin of Woolwich Township reaches to his mailbox to drop his semaphore as he's picking up the mail on his way home for lunch. Preparing his fields for corn, it's been a long morning and a warm meal awaits in the homestead. In the background, staff of the Waterloo Central Railway take photos of their acquisition dropped off hours earlier, with a short passenger train powered by CN 1437. The Martin family, as well as many other Martin families in the area sell maple syrup year round and mmm mmm it's delicious. Bring cash and don't try on a Sunday as they are always closed for business.

That worked out well.
Unbelievable
Are those some local farmers out in the field wearing hi-viz ?
Love the farmer profile and love the GMD. Nice take, Steve.
Think those are the WCR Volunteers @RLK2211
And hells ya, some super cool pics Steve! Now if only WCR will be willing to do a freight photo shoot date with this baby as the star of the show…
Whatever they name their price I’m sure as hell in!
For the most part yes, Graydon, but there were some guests there too. Also, they’ve been doing photo freights (one was done recently) but they are not publicized in advance. I’d expect it to happen again though, you just have to be there when it happens.
