One of my earlier views of the TH&B Starlight, which at this time rarely did not have TH&B power mixed in. I love how the clean face on the leader highlights the shot, which in the end appears somewhat moody view due to the clouds......just a peek of sunshine at the right time.
This is CP 5643 and 4730 bound for Hamilton, crossing the junction of the CN Dundas sub.

  1. Railroading’s best of times….so many things that are great about this shot.

  2. Great shot of 002S, and that engine too.

  3. Great!! You liked the fact I waited until a train came along to enhance the photo, did you?

  4. The roof and the underframe are filthy, but at least the sides and front are nice and clean.

  5. That what struck me as odd. It was like the paint was the only thing in the budget.
