EMDX 7205 and 7206 lead CP 420 out of Midhurst in the last few seconds of light, an excruciating feeling after tracking this train all day with "sunlight to burn!" turned to pouting out the door trying to think of a spot not consumed by shadows. Famous last words, always seems to be the way with train 420!

  1. Sweet!

  2. It sure is! Great shot.

  3. 10/10. Glad you got this in amazing light.

  4. Where’s the bread, as this certainly is the butter. :-)

  5. Just noted this photo popped up on “best” along the top of the page; and I had forgotten about it. Looking it over now, I have to admit this is one CHOICE image. You worked hard for this, and were well rewarded.

  6. I believe all the Tier 4′s ended up in Mexico

these didn’t last long on either CN or CP and they didn’t lead all that often around here.

    A great effort well rewarded.
