There is something about this photo. I just can’t put my finger on it. Maybe it is the effect of a general view shot against the sun? Anyway, I really like this. Unique.
I think the role of the railroad, sandwiched between the rock bluffs and a community situated in the snow, is the key here. The steam locomotives are reliable friends with a train hauling the local economy. Love it.
This is awesome. Pierre the trees have grown back since this photo was taken. It’s no longer open it would seem.
Looks like the Levack train near the area where Algoma Eastern had its interchange in west Sudbury!
