Caption: Upon hearing that #148 this day was to have some engines in tow for a road I probably will never get to visit; I was out of the house early. As usual, too early. My imagination always works that a train will arrive at a certain location probably twice as fast as it actually does. The result was I got to standing around in a miserable cold breeze on a miserable cold dull day for close to an hour at a spot about a quarter mile east of where the old Dundas station used to stand. Why there? Because Bayview is too boring..........
Two SD40-2s were in consist today lettered for the Tshiuetin Rail Transportation, Inc, a rather remote outfit in Northern Quebec running between Emeril Jct (near Labrador City) and Schefferville)with passenger service over the QNSL at Sept Iles. The TSH started up in 2005.
In tow behind CN 2105 and BCOL 4653 are the two TSH units, 7205 and 8176. They both came by way of HLCX, originally BN.

The way I see it is you’re better off early than late, especially with something as cool as this. Great catch!
You summed up Bayview very well
