An original: built in 1876 for the Victoria Railway by contractor Mackenzie Brothers ( Sir William Mackenzie ) from Kirkfield.
Today the station in situ, is fully ( & beautifully ) restored to original as built condition
and is a regular meeting place for the community, the restored baggage room is home of the Kinmount Model Railway & Museum.
