Since these 875s are starting to make a little noise here on RP, I'll take you back to the first one. After taxiing to Fort Erie, the crew had just gotten on 3828 before this shot, and were getting ready to depart with a string of new build grain hoppers that had been temporarily stored there before heading to Winnipeg on this train. 3828 was dropped the night before by 530, on its return trip from Buffalo, which has been the norm for most (but not all) of these 875s.

  1. Just the one unit to Winnipeg or do they pick up another? Great series of photos James documenting these runs.

  2. And the single 6 axel uits running local jobs out of Port Rob. Keep em coming. Probably a stupid question above. Happy New to you James and all Railpictures.ca contributors and viewers!

  3. Thanks Brad. Yeah, these typically run as a single unit. I believe one of them had two.
