Caption: A typical dreary day in February and I find myself on a day off work hanging around the old Dundas station. It was a change from Bayview and presented some interesting scenery. And I always loved shooting trains with a station included, as it was stations that got me into this hobby in the first place.
So, eastbound is CN 9578 and 5046 with a long string of boxcars and mixed freight behind. A couple of passenger trains still stopped at Dundas station back then, so I was pretty well guaranteed the parking lot would be clean.
This image shot using Woolco slide film, and held up remarkably well.

Ah, the brake smoke!!
How did I miss seeing this photo….??? Great shot Arnold….but wondered what the spray painted ‘X’ is for…??? Does it mark ‘the spot ‘…demolition…..??
I wondered about that too, Todd. The building was still ‘sound’ at the time so I really have no idea.
