On a pleasent spring evening the CP Hamilton Turn (525) is pictured departing Ayr, Ontario on the Galt Subdivision after lifting 12 hoppers with 3104, 4207 and 8240. The train is approaching the Nith River bridge with 26 cars and is heading west with an eventual meet with 516 at Blandford.

    This is nice. And it is a real pity we cannot ‘hang around’ there any more, as I see housing is going up and the park-like area where one could relax in the evening will soon be history.

    Excellent! This used to be my favourite spot to railfan. Very relaxing there. @awmooney: Haven’t seen the scene there recently but last time I was there, it’s not looking good :(
