Well, now that the Ingersoll CN station managed to hang on 40 years after closing, and we all watched it piece by piece succumb to the elements; a picture of it in somewhat better days is warranted. (It had been close about 2 1/2 years when I shot this)  The old station gave us its last 'sigh' this month, as it was demolished and put out of its misery for good.  It is a shame that a station once part of the Grand Trunk system (built in 1880s) had been allowed to die this way. RIP.

  2. It’s unfortunate for sure, but on the bright side. There are still several ex GT stations in the area that are still in active use!
