I'm not going back very many years for this. Not quite 6 to be exact. But for a brief time these were really entertaining days to be out.  The Ontario Southland pressed all three of their F units into service; and practically everyone with a camera made it trackside while the getting was good. There were some days you just did not feel the cold. Here's the OSR 1400, 6508 and 1401 hustling back to Ingersoll after working the mills at Putnam. Heady days, indeed.

  1. I think I was out on this cruddy day as well! The three F units brought me out. Obviously I wasn’t the only one :)

  2. You might have been, Kevin. They ran this combo for a few days if I recall correctly. Maybe none of those days were sunny.

  3. Thry ran as a trio twice that winter and once in the summer. That’s it imho. There was one winter chase in full brilliant sunshine too…
