FYI “control point” is a term used south of the border and is not featured in the CROR.
This would be a “Controlled Location” by CROR standards.
There is a “Controlled Point” in the CROR that is defined as “A signal location in CTC consisting of controlled signal(s) in one direction only”.
@mattwatson thanks for the info. I’m kind of just calling it a control point because it’s a common railfan term for any RTC controlled location, wasn’t really attempting to be specific to CROR but I always appreciate info regardless.
