Caption: Having just shot the St Thomas Job down in Tillsonburg, I noticed going by Salford that the remaining ex BC Rail M420W’s have been removed off one of the deadlines out of sight and that the Woodstock Job had just left for it’s days work. Quick drive up to Ingersoll hoping I haven’t missed them as I didn’t know how close they were — not 30 seconds getting out of the car, 182’s horn started to blow for the crossing behind me with the 181, CFS 641, and 646 in trail. Quickly turning around after they cleared the road brings a shot that looks like they’re leading down to Salford, but they aren’t. Sold to Sartigan Railway in Quebec along with the other pair of MLW’s that went earlier in the year, it’s clear these units are being used as part sources for the 644 and 647 that are already at their home. Shortly after, they’ll be set off on the west end of Ingersoll Yard for the St Thomas Job to lift for St Thomas where they’ll be transferred to CN 584.
