Nice catch !
Very nice Michael. How did you get the trucks lit? Are there bulbs on the unit?
Thanks guys. I guess there are lights down there on the unit? My shot was a 20 second exposure with no flashes or bulbs of any kind.
Correct, typically on the truck under the cab in a small fan shaped receptacle are lights for illumination. Follow this link to a former post of mine http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=43316 and under the fellow waving and right by the re-rail frog you can see the light shining. Also, on the Nicholas Houde photo of the GT unit at the top of this page if you look carefully above the middle wheel (zoom in to see), just above the brake cylinder, and right below the white stripe of the frame you can see the little fan shaped receptacle that has the light within. This one might be tough to find. Also, these lights are found on cabooses.
Good work on the nighttime photo Michael.
Thanks and thanks for the info.
