A weekend extra for Fibreglass, which seemed to happen fairly often (a few times a year) and I gave chase as it didn't require a day off work. One of the few chases I ever did with OSR 180 in the lead position. How much this has changed since then - there's a yard here now... Carter road, Arkell. OSR 180 was retired and parked sometime approx 2006 and has not run since.

    Nice to read of the addition of the Yard tracks. Normally it’s the opposite! What are the Yard tracks used for?

    It’s amazing how much things have changed, but also amazing how long things when without changing. OSR used the RS-18 and RS-23 duo right up until the end (albeit different units).

    The yellow re-railer hanging off of 180 is a nice throwback too.

    Brad it is a yard. :) storing cars, lifts or setoffs and some transload

    Also sometimes meeting trains
