Caption: Right At Home
A pair of former CP GP9s, both still wearing the classic action red scheme take care of the OSR Woodstock Job on likely the last 20°+ day in 2020. These geeps look right at home, as both they and the tracks they operate on here are formerly owned by Canadian Pacific. This pair has not been together for around 3-4 years as 1591 was assigned to the Guelph Junction Railway (which recently was handed over to GEXR) while 8235 was assigned to the main OSR system. I also believe this is the first time this pair has run on the main OSR system (aka jobs based out of Salford) since both units were purchased, but don’t quote me on that one. Regardless, this was a hell of a sight today and one of a few top tier catches!

If you built a model with tracks that squiggly, people would tell you it wasn’t realistic.
Nice shot Liam. It almost looks how it did when CP had locals based out of Woodstock.
CP still actually owns the Port Burwell and St. Thomas Subdivisions. OSR just operates both under a lease agreement with CP. OSR owns no physical trackage, just units and equipment.
