Caption: The CP Galt Subdivision from Guelph Junction to West Toronto has always been very captivating to me, neat views like this are a reason why. BNSF 6105 (GE ES44AC, built 09/2006) shoves on the rear of CP 650 under the Dundas Street underpass in Cooksville (Missisauga). Visible in this view is a former CP Rail transload facility, however I cannot recall it's purpose and when it was abandoned. Modern skyscrapers that make up the Toronto skyline are also visible. CP 650 is a train of ethanol loads bound for Albany, New York.

Welcome Aidan! I happened to catch that train as well!
That would be the former steel transfer facility where steel coils were transloaded.
Great shot! love that bridge too. The coil facility was a busy place well into the 1990′s until CP had the new facility built in Hamilton at Aberdeen yard. There was a second building located in the foreground but was demolished several years ago.
thanks for the kind words gentlemen! much appreciated. I assumed it would of been some sort of coil transload
Nice shot!
