Caption: There was a time when blue and red Grand Truck Western power was common on CN freights in Southern Ontario in the 90's. Here, CN GP40-2L(W) 9410 leads #382 off the hill at Bayview Junction, leading GTW GP40-2 6417, GTW GP38 6206, CN SD40-2W 5336, and GTW GP38 6204. No dynamic brakes on the leader or most of the power, hence the cloud of smoke kicking up from the brake shoes. A few railfans are visible in the distance, catching some of the action at the bottom of the hill.
