Manned helpers certainly are interesting in this day and age. Is that regular for some trains on this line, or a one-off thing due to engine issues?
mberry- It certainly is interesting in this day in age. It is pretty much a daily thing on this hill depending on traffic levels and train makeup. Sometimes they will nose on to the lead unit and add a few more driving axles to the head end and other times like in this case they push on the rear.
