Caption: GEXR 431 rolls over the Grand River in Breslau, ON with the usual trio of...wait.
Times have changed, and CN is running the show again on the Guelph Subdivision. With 533 running 3 days a week as far as I'm aware, this brings massive trains and with it, a clogged Kitchener yard. CN is normally able to complete this Mac to Kitchener, and return move with just 2 units, rather than GEXRs trio of EMD war heros and a shorter daily train. That being said, its a bit difficult to re-create a shot with matching, or at least somewhat matching trios of CN. The fact this train normally runs at night makes the shot a bit more hard pressed to get too. Luckily, I was told of a daylight 533, and head to the Grand River to get set up. After seeing that trio of GEXR for years, I never thought I'd be re-creating it with CN...crazier things have happened I guess.
