Caption: On a damp and foggy Wednesday morning, QGRY GP40M-2 #3800 leads its maited GP38 slug (QGRY 800) northbound on the Goderich Sub towards Guelph on the Guelph Junction Railway, whose motive power was just recently switched over from OSR to GEXR, hence the QGRY locomotives. Seen here at the 15 Side Road crossing, the location of Sharpe Farm Supplies. Super chill crew, thanks guys!

Nice shot. The first car appears to be for Owens Corning.
They lifted fibreglass this morning, no setoff though.
Gents, those cars are loaded (or unloaded) on the glass lead at Traxxside with the blue stripes on the side. One just like the one pictured is there as I type this.
I believe loaded at Traxxside. They had an issue with the top of the car being covered in glass and not cleaned off when lifting one last week.
Yes confirmed that first car was for Traxxside as Steve had said.
Fibreglass used to take these cars, and I suspect they were broken glass (recycled) used in the manufacturing process. There is a ton of broken glass on the Fibreglass spur/wye likely because of what they used to transport. It didn’t get there from broken bottles…
I suspect they are not taken anymore, I believe Fibreglass takes clay. One of the product lines was moved to mexico in 2015 which is why they ended rail service in the first place. But it’s back (for now).
