A little something different is a "people picture" showing a gathering of fans at the Junction, where there was always someone most days; good weather or bad. I have no info written with this pic; I guess back then it was just a shot I felt was meaningless, but after all these years it has taken on a different status. I am almost sure this is a weekend crowd, but have my suspicions when I see Bill McArthur over by the oil tank getting his photo, and the exhaust shows his blue station wagon is indeed running. He did work the odd Saturdays so this could have been one of them.......and just stopped in to see what was happening. But I worked most Saturdays....maybe I was on holidays..the weather seems to indicate it... and, it all makes me think this shot could be of #73. Anyway, those days are long gone. It was fun while they lasted.

  1. Priceless memories in a great photo.

  2. Glad you like. Sentimental sort of photos are good for a change. That big green heap is a Chevy Suburban, I am quite sure; but cannot ID the little sports car.

  3. Looks a like a Datsun 240Z too me.

  4. And a lovely shade of brown 76′ or 77′ Plymouth Volare behind it. Won’t be long before the jointed rail on both tracks of the Dundas Sub will be replaced by the CWR laid on all four shoulders.
