Caption: Hamilton is flush with heritage in this photo, mind you, some is a bit of a stretch. A nod to TH&B still adorns the iconic Hunter St Terminal while a CP Heritage paint passes two different GO schemes laying over for the weekend. According to the THRA.CA who wrote in 2010 that the Hunter St was designed by Fellheimer & Wagner who also created Buffalo Central Terminal and Cincinnati's iconic Union Terminal (now known as CUT, a train station and busy museum). At least we still have a world class design used for passenger trains 90 years later unlike Buffalo.
Interestingly enough GO Transit was found here Well into the TH&B Era, funny how it took a couple decades to actually get regular GO service which began in 1996.

Awesome shot Mr host
Thanks mofo
Very nice indeed, showing TH&B, GO and Canadian Pacific lettering, GO and CP heritage paint schemes. Question – is the D-rail on the centre track a powered and CTC controlled one ? Thanks for sharing, John
I can’t answer that but I can ask some friends…
Thank you for digging into the archives. This has been on my “todo” list for some time and I’ve done a few different trains here.
