Having just overtaken a westbound freight at Savona, the westbound "Rocky Mountaineer" rolls past the entrance to Juniper Beach Provincial Park on July 29, 2018. Lead unit 8013 was originally CN 9621 (off the roster in 1999 according to the Canadian Trackside Guide) and trailing unit 8016 began life as PC 3116 (and has been through several owners). This location is just off the Trans-Canada Highway, about an hour west of Kamloops.
