Caption: I was surprised how fast that Algoma Central tour train moved along once it got rolling. It is still rather early morning light as it banks into the curve heading northward past a railroad location called "Northland" which is about 6 miles out of Searchmont. The former days of some really nice power made this visit a pleasure every time. Today AC 1750, 1756, 1754, 1755 and 1751 are up front of around 25 coaches; a scene never to be repeated as far as train length is concerned. I have been back but once since they threw old CN units on it. And even that turned out to be an 11 hour marathon because with CN, the freights had the right of way.
