During crew change at the old CP Cartier station, a good gabfest is in the works as train #301 with CP 5832, HLCX 4415 and HLCX 3065 waits to head westward. There were leased units abound during this time, as CP struggled with a huge power deficit. It is already April, but a lot of dirty snow still lingers, along with an equally grubby looking sky.

    It was, Kevin. They don’t even change crews there any more. I understand there is some modular building a bit down the track they use now.

    That was such a great place to hang-out in between trains as well. It was a place that time seemed to forget about then unfortunately caught-up to it with the new crew building being constructed.

    Arnold, your image captures everything so well with the crews trading-off. Awesome.
