Caption: Skirting the town of Puslinch along Gore Rd, the border between North Dumfries and Puslinch, 147 passes one of the many hobby farms located here. One of my favorite stretches of railroad for photography, close to home (about 11 minutes from door to tracks) is quickly being over run with severances. New hobby farms and houses (about a dozen) have gone up along here and this view is no longer possible. Too bad. I'm told lots fetch about $400-500k now with nothing on them, no wonder farmers are cashing in.
BTW, i'm told the CEFX leasers are no longer leased to CP and have mostly been sent back. Some still around, but I believe they are off CP lease and basically stored waiting movement to new locations. You don't know what you have until it's gone, right? If anyone captured one of these CEFX units (clearly) with a SD70ACU that would be quite the rarity on CP. Probably going to happen if these end up with other railroads (BNSF, etc).

Speaking of CEFX with an ACU, CP 119 is coming west with CEFX 1044 3rd and CP 7054 4th. Left Montreal this afternoon.
How about a Bluebird CEFX with CP6644 (Bluebird was another nickname for a Spitfire) If your old enough to remember or have heard the famous Ver Lynn WWII song.
